Nineteen years ago, we set out to recognize component repair facilities that consistently deliver results exceeding industry standards. Our goal was to honor companies that drive innovation, embrace cutting-edge technologies, and provide unparalleled customer support within the aviation maintenance sector. With this vision, the Top Shop Awards were launched to shine a spotlight on organizations that help set the benchmark for excellence in our industry.

Over the years, the Top Shop Awards have evolved into one of the most prestigious distinctions in aviation maintenance. To date, 414 awards have been presented across as many as thirty different repair categories, making the annual awards a highly anticipated event among aviation professionals worldwide.

Multi-Entity and Single Entity Winners

Over the past few years, several companies have asked us to take steps to help level the playing field between large and small repair centers. The concern has consistently been that it is extremely difficult for smaller repair centers to compete with much larger organizations.

In response, this year we have divided certain award categories between companies that operate multiple shops and those with a single repair station.

20x20 Booth at MRO Americas

For several years, we have hosted an awards ceremony on the evening prior to MRO Americas. While this event has consistently been well attended and highly enjoyable, we have been looking for ways to offer even greater visibility for our award winners.

We’re excited to announce that this year we have secured a 20x20 exhibit space at MRO Americas in Orlando, Florida, dedicated to showcasing The 145 and the 2026 Top Shop Award winners. This expanded presence will provide our winners with three full days of exposure to thousands of aviation maintenance professionals from across the industry.
